Effective Date: May 2026 · Last updated: October 2026
These terms are reviewed and updated from time to time. The version in effect when you booked is the version that applies to your booking — the policy you agreed to at checkout is stored with your registration, and later changes are not applied retroactively.
1. Refund Policy
As of October 10, 2026, all purchases are final and nonrefundable.
No refunds and no credits are issued for cancellations, missed sessions, or no-shows, regardless of how much notice is given. If you are unable to attend, your spot may be transferred to a friend under Section 3.
Bookings made before October 10, 2026 are governed by the refund policy that was in effect, and agreed to, at the time of that booking. Credits issued before that date remain valid until their stated expiry.
Can’t make it on short notice? Spot transfers to a friend are welcome up to 24 hours before the event. Email auricmovement@outlook.com with both names and emails to arrange.
Collaborations and partner events follow their own refund policy, shown at the time of booking. The policy you agreed to at checkout is the one that applies to your booking, and it is stored with your registration.
Chargebacks: Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute after agreeing to this policy is a breach of these terms. Auric Movement LLC reserves the right to decline registration for any future events from anyone who does so.
2. Cancellations
See Section 1 above — cancellations are not eligible for a refund or a credit. Spot transfers are available under Section 3.
3. Spot Transfers
Spot transfers to a friend are allowed up to 24 hours before the event start time. To transfer your spot, email auricmovement@outlook.com with your full name and the full name and email of the person taking your spot. Auric Movement LLC reserves the right to deny a transfer at its discretion. If you cannot find someone to transfer to, see the credit policy in Section 1.
4. Arrival & Lateness Policy
Please arrive at your scheduled session arrival time. The first 5 minutes are reserved for orientation. Class begins promptly 5 minutes after your arrival time.
There is a 5-minute grace period only. Late arrivals will not be admitted. This is strictly enforced. No refunds or transfers will be issued for late arrivals.
5. Event Cancellation by Auric Movement LLC
If Auric Movement LLC cancels or postpones the event, all registered participants will receive a full refund within 5–10 business days via the original payment method. Auric Movement LLC is not responsible for incidental costs such as travel or accommodation.
Rescheduled events. Where Auric Movement LLC offers you the opportunity to reschedule a booking, the date you select is final. Further changes to that booking are not eligible for a reschedule, a credit, or a refund.
6. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to treat instructors, staff, and fellow participants with respect. Auric Movement LLC is a welcoming, inclusive space.
Harassment, discrimination, and slurs have no place here. This includes conduct targeting a person’s race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, or body size, whether directed at another participant, an instructor, or anyone else present. Unwelcome physical contact and unwanted sexual attention are also prohibited.
Filming or photographing other guests without their consent is not permitted — this includes photos, video, and live streaming, anywhere on the premises.
Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior will result in removal from the session without a refund. Auric Movement LLC further reserves the right to decline your registration for any future events following a violation of this code of conduct.
7. Right to Refuse Entry
Auric Movement LLC reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual who has not completed a signed liability waiver, arrives late, appears to be under the influence of alcohol or substances, or poses a safety risk. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.
8. Photography & Video
Photography and video may be captured during the event for promotional purposes. A notice will be posted at the venue. To opt out, notify your instructor before the session or email auricmovement@outlook.com.
This section covers photography by Auric Movement LLC. Filming or photographing other guests without their consent is not permitted — see Section 6.
9. Medical Disclaimer
Pilates involves physical exertion and inherent risk. Please consult a physician before attending if you have any medical conditions or health concerns. Auric Movement LLC instructors are not licensed medical professionals. Participation is at your own risk.
10. Personal Belongings
You are responsible for your personal belongings. Auric Movement LLC is not liable for lost, stolen or damaged items at any event or host studio.
11. Third-Party Payment
Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider. We do not store your payment details. Refer to your payment provider's privacy policy for information on how your financial data is handled.
12. Electronic Signatures
Where you sign a waiver electronically, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to every clause it contains. Your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of a handwritten signature and is binding under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act), 15 U.S.C. § 7001.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Auric Movement LLC to you for any claim arising out of your booking or attendance is limited to the amount you paid for the session in question. Auric Movement LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost time, travel costs, or missed work. Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of these terms or your attendance shall be resolved through binding arbitration before the American Arbitration Association in New York County, New York, and not through court litigation. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
